Losing a loved one can be devastating.
Lots of resources exist to help support you.

Many people find it beneficial to talk to others who are experiencing grief. There are community groups and resources everywhere to help. The following is a brief list of organizations in Ontario that may help you find support close to home. Please reach out to me for a more personalized list of resources that are closer to home for you and otherwise.

  • Grief Recovery Ontario - Offers grief support groups, workshops, and individual counseling services across Ontario.

  • Bereaved Families of Ontario (BFO) - Provides peer support groups, resources, and workshops for individuals grieving the loss of a loved one.

  • Bereavement Ontario Network (BON) - Network of organizations across Ontario providing grief support services and resources.

  • Gilda's Club Greater Toronto - Provides support groups and workshops for individuals and families affected by cancer-related grief.

  • The Healing Cycle Foundation - Raises funds for hospice palliative care and offers grief support programs and resources in Ontario.

  • The Dougy Center for Grieving Children & Families - Offers resources and training on childhood grief support.
